Coffee is one of the most pesticide sprayed crops in the world.
That means going organic with our coffee everyday is one of the most valuable health choices we can make.
Organic coffee is coffee that has been grown, processed and handled without using any synthetic chemicals. More info coming soon.
All Clayman Coffee blends are roasted using only organic green beans. These green beans are certified organic.
Theoretically organic coffee is richer in flavour than non-organic, because the soil is richer in nutrients, and the coffee is shade-grown (this causes slower ripening process which results in more developed flavours than sun-grown coffee). But there are other factors that affect coffee bean flavour such as the roasting and blending process, and of course the brewing.
Yes, studies have shown that organic coffee is higher in antioxidants and richer in nutrients. Organic coffee is also free from harmful carcinogenic pesticides such as glyphosate (also known as Roundup).
Yes - because organic coffee uses natural crop maintenance methods instead of synthetic pesticides, the waterways and eco-systems of organic coffee farms is healthier and uncontaminated.
There's no difference in caffeine levels due to organic vs non-organic. The caffeine level of coffee beans is more so dictated by the type of beans rather than the farming method.
On average, a coffee drinker will have 2-3 cups of coffee everyday. And because coffee is one of the most (often considered the most) pesticide sprayed crops in the world, drinking organic coffee is one of the best choices we can make for our long-term health. That's why Clayman Coffee uses only organic green beans.
